Catando ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data the Catando app for iOS collects, why, and what choices you have. Catando has no account and no login — we never ask for your name, email, or any personal profile to play the game.
1. Information We Don't Collect
Catando does not require registration, does not collect your name or contact details, and does not store your puzzle progress on any server we control — your progress and badges are saved locally on your device.
2. Information Collected Automatically
Like most apps, Catando relies on a small number of third-party services that may collect limited technical data automatically to make the app work and to keep it free:

3. How We Use Data
- To display ads that keep Catando free.
- To process the optional Remove Ads purchase through Apple.
- To fix bugs and understand which features people actually use.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to running and improving the App.
4. Your Choices
- You can limit ad tracking at any time in your device's Settings (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or your device's ad personalization controls).
- Purchasing Remove Ads stops in-app ad requests going forward.
- Deleting the App removes all locally stored progress from your device.
5. Children's Privacy
Catando is suitable for a general audience and contains no gambling, betting, or real-money wagering mechanics of any kind. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll address it.
6. Data Retention & Security
Because Catando doesn't operate user accounts, most of your data (puzzle progress, settings) never leaves your device. Any technical data shared with the third-party services listed above is retained according to those providers' own policies.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
